A nice find. With him being captured that probably ended any hope of this regiment ever recruiting. The book "Tennesseans in the Civil War" has as a source the state adjutant general's records and they show nothing for this unit.

We would have to check in Military Governor Andrew Johnson's Papers to see if there was communication between him and Kindrick about form ing the regiment at all.
