There is only one muster roll for Co. H, 1 Regt. Alabama Reserves (Co. H 62nd Alabama Infantry) included in the file -

for June 30 - Aug. 31, 1864,

Record of Events

The Co Was in charge of three pieces Artillery Redoubts Selma until 13 July it was then ordered to Mobile where is was again placed in Redoubts where it remained till 3 August it was then ordered to Fort Gaines where it was engaged till 9" Aug the date of the surrender of the garrison forty three members of the Co. became prisoners there were at the time a large percentage of the Co sick in Mobile leaving the Nucleus for a Co. it has been largely recruited since of proper material for making a fine Co.
