There is one reference slip showing the name John Lockley of Co. B. It states that cards are filed with J.M. Locklar. Almost all the cards in that CMSR are under the name J.M. Locklar. One of the cards shows the name as J.M. Locklin - appearing on a register of Way Hospital, Meridian, Miss. Complaint - wounds. Admitted - Jany. 17, 1865. The next card shows the name as John Lockley - appearing on a register of Floyd House and Ocmulgee Hospitals, Macon, Ga. Date - Apr. 3, 1865. Brigade - Pettus - Stevenson's Div. P.O. or State - Union Springs, Ala. Disease - V.S. (gun shot) fract. upper 3rd left Tibia. Chr Infla (chronic inflammation?) soft tissue covering bone. No records past that date.
