Surrender of Pensacola Navy Yard

I recently came upon this report of the surrender & occupation of the Pensacola Navy Yard in Jan 1861, and have decided to post it FWIW. Among the Alabama troops mentioned: Montgomery True blues, Wetumpka Light Blues, etc. Several individual Alabama officers are named.
Persons interested in flags may find something of interest, also. The Yard story is in column 5.

On the same page, other material may be of general interest.
