Thanks for the information. It seems he may have received new uniforms twice.
My great great grandfather left the Buckner Camp of Instruction Talladega in April, after being issued clothing. I was curious as to what type of uniforms they were issued. He joined Early's army in time for the Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Cold Harbor, and later Monocacy. He was captured the day after the battle and sent to Elmira, where he died and is buried.
