Alford W. Murray, Private, Capt. J. Sleeth’s Company Scouts, Alabama, enlisted at Chickasas, Ala. June 10, 1864, born in Lawrence County, Ala., 19 year old Farmer, 5’ 10”, fair complexion, light hair, grey eyes, suffering from a gunshot wound of the right elbow joint causing complete auchylosis of the joint. . . and is today unfit for duty in any of the departments of the military service. Jan. 30, 1865
