Hello,

I have found a couple references to a small powder works erected in Selma in either late 1863 or sometime in 1864.

I am not finding much on these works. Did they ever really open? If so, was it for primarily cannon powder for the Naval Gun Works?

Any suggested sources would be appreciated.
