These tombstones were ordered from a list of some 2,000 +/- names found on a long lost list of burials at Cedar Hill.
These old documents had aged badly, ink splotched, holes in folds of the paper, etc. Mistakes abounded.

For example, my great uncle listed on another document, who served with the 43rd Tennessee, was transcribed as with the 48th Tennessee.
