Gentlemen: This unit later identified by it commander as "Garrity's Battery", Capt. James Garrity Commanding.

Pvt. Edward W. Haggerty killed at Nashville, Tennessee on December 161,1864. Buried among the Unknown Confederate Dead in Confederate Circle, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee.

Pvt. Nicholas Lenhard killed at Franklin, Tennessee on Nov. 30, 1864. One of only eight Confederate artillerymen killed at Franklin. Buried in the McGavock Confederate Cemetery among the 565 Unknowns. (Also killed here was another member of this battery, Cpl. John W. Kavanaugh also buried among the Unknowns. Tim Burgess
