Confederate pensions were provided for veterans in the state in which the soldier was residing, irrespective of state served.
I have not been able to find a record for him either. He may have enlisted at a later date for which his companies
muster rolls did not survive to be incorporated in the records.
If he did serve in one of Biffle's units of which there are at least three, maybe four, it would be helpful to identify
the men who authenticated his service.
Do you have his widow's application and, if so, who were the soldiers who attested his service?
