"During the week, we had several imposing military funerals; among which we notice that of Col. Weedon and Capt. Nott. The attendance was large and the music solemn. It is sad to witness these, and to think of the cause; but a just God will mete out justice to the accused nation that has brought mourning to our thresholds. Let us leave the matter in His hands."
