Perhaps a half of dozen times now I've run across this abbreviation at hospital reports. General Ainsworth and his staff used preprinted forms for their CMSR's and the word MISSILE was typed in and after MISSILE it is written in as Con. BALL. At first I thought it might have been a Cannon Ball but there are too many flesh wounds associated with this abbreviation. The only thing I can think of now is perhaps canister but am not sure.
