A question the Alabama archives has on file Pension records, usually a widows
pension as two witnesses were these wittnesses usually soldiers that could verify
service of the deceased.
Ran across on Stephen Aycock as a witnesses but no service record that I can find.
he would have been from Franklin Co. Alabama which later became Colbert Co. Al.
