Waddy Thompson O'Hara

I have a graveyard in my backyard in Standing Rock, Chambers Co., AL with 8 marked graves and an estimated 230 unmarked ones. Charity Rutland O'Hara, wife of Allen M. O'Hara, died in 1897 and is buried there as are two of her small children. Her husband died on 25 Dec 1869 in Barbour Co. AL. Their oldest child, Waddy Thompson O'Hara, may have enlisted early on in the war, but I have not been able to locate him in Confederate regimental records or confederate naval records. The sole survivor after the war was Louisiana O'Hara Slack (Waddy Thompson O'Hara's only sister), but I have lost track of her and her husband after the 1870 Federal population census of Barbour Co. was taken. Any ideas of where to look?

I'd appreciate very much the help. Thank you!
