Janelle - The site below has some pretty detailed maps. On my screen it is hard to read the individual regimental numbers, but the 16th was in Wood's Brigade of Cleburne's Division, so find Wood's Brigade and follow the action on the maps. They really were in the thick of the fighting on that first day.
