I realize this is an old thread, but I have a bible flag that is absolutely authentic. I found it in a bible in an attic of house that has been around since the civil war, and I live near a battlefield. The flag I have appears to be a hand stitched first national flag, it is signed and dated by its owner, July 4th 1861 & 1862. I'm trying to learn the value, if any one has any ideas, please let me know.
