I've been hoping for years that some reliable information about any 31st/49th Alabama Inf. flag would surface, but so far nothing. Ran across this some time ago and I'm sure ya'll have likely seen it ( http://tmg110.tripod.com/usarmyh10.htm ). I'm sure it's just a guess on someones part but its the only thing on the web that I've ever run across.
