My great grandfather was Wilson Ferguson or Furgerson or who knows what ever different way they spell it. Anyway. He and his wife Mary Elizabeth Wilson Fergurson were living in 1855 - 1860 at County Line, Talladaga Co, Alabama. On either side of him are members of Elizabeth's family, Frederick and Absolom Wilson. Wilson Ferguson and at least one of the Wilson men served in the Civil war. As best I can tell, Wilson Ferguson never came home after the war that I can tell and can't find any papers on him. !870 census shows Mary Elizabeth Ferguson with her 3 children, William Franklin F., John F., and Eliza.

Are there any records that show Wilson Furgerson's service and where he died etc...?
