I have a question regarding a ggguncle. John F. Young...dob Dec 23, 1846, Perry Co., Al. Listed in the 1860 census for Perry co as 13 yrs of age. There is some info on Genweb which says that he applied for a pension in that county as a former member of 62nd Al Reserves. He would have been 18 years old when the war ended. Would any records be available thru this site? He also had a brother, William M. Young who was in the war. Any info would be appreciated.
