I would like info on my GG grandfather William H. Hanks. I know he was a first sargeant in the 23rd Alabama Infantry. I also know he was killed at Port Gibson, Miss. Do you have any more facts on him. I have attached a link with all the info I have on him as well as my other GG grandfathers.
