31st AL REG. CO. C - W. B. Holmes

William B. Holmes, the brother of my great great grandfather, was taken prisoner and sent to Rock Island prison where he died and is buried in the Confederate section, grave #322. His brother James Edmund Holmes enlisted in Talladega, AL and was a member of 31st AL Reg. Co. G and was captured at Kennesaw, GA and paroled from Rock Island 1865/06/20. Any additional information on these two brothers would be appreciated.
