No battles and no history here. These two companies served as provost guard at Demopolis and Cahaba AL. The only place I've been able to learn anything was by reading the service files. They were assigned to Livingston's 8th Alabama Cavalry as Companies "I" and "K" on Oct. 6, 1864, but never served wth that command.
