Many thanks. Two questions. (1) Your reply shows: "s/s/ H. H. Norman, Capt., Co. E, 55th Regiment Ala. Vol." Did you mean to type 33rd instead of 55th? (2) It is correct that H.H. Norman was "absent since since May 9 "1862, submitted resignation "Dec. 30, 1862" and resignation officially signed Feb. 9, 1863?
