Isaac A. Beeson

I am trying to locate the military service records of my G-G-G-G uncle, Isaac A. Beeson. According to family genealogy, he was born 1832 and died 22 June 1891. For several years, I have thought because of his age he probably served during the War but have never been able to locate him during those years. He was on 1850 and 1860 St. Clair Co. AL census. The same undocumented family genealogy indicates his wife was Louisa and that he lived in Arkansas later in life.

I have now located a widow's pension application #586.227 filed 2 Dec 1893 in Arkansas by Louisa Beeson. On this application, she stated that husband Isaac A. Beeson served in the following:
F 1 Ala. Cav.
I assume this means Company F 1st Regiment Alabama Cavalry. However, I still can't locate a service record for Isaac A. Beeson in Alabama. Any help anyone can provide in this search will be gratefully appreciate.
Thanks,
Lynda Lowery
