Thanks for the clarification, and advice. Have you read Pvt. Oliver Perry Casey's Memoirs or T.W. Hendricks Cherished Letter's? Both men served in the 12th. Both are cited in the bibliography on the unit history. I've read the Cherished Letters but have been unable to read or access Memoirs by Pvt. Casey, I have posted here for it, and was advised by Mr. Martin to write Ken Burns, I did but I haven't received a response as yet. Ah well, maybe someday.
