Dale, I certainly want to see that. I am in the UDC and our chapter is trying to uncover any skirmish events that occurred in what was then Henry County AL. Can you tell me of anything that happened in this area? I guess Joseph Sanders was the main raider in this area.

I did pick up a family note on a couple of Kirkland young men I wonder about. I hope I get this right but perhaps you know:

Aaron Kirkland was in the 6th AL, was wounded and came home to join the Henry
County Home Guard. He was reported to have been killed on patrol in Florida.

Seymour "Tuck" Kirkland was reported to have been captured Oct. '64 on a "salt run". I'm not sure what company either of these guys were in.

This is not my family line but I made a note of them because of the Federal troop movement in north Florida. Do you have anything on them?
