Ok...Now I'm a little confused. Can you help me clear this up? Are you saying that "Reserves" has a different meaning back in Civil War times and that J.L. Frazier actually served in a unit that saw action? Or are you saying that my John Lewis Frazier probably is NOT the J.L. Frazier listed because of his birthdate? Or am I totally off?

Sorry for all the questions...I'm actually pretty familiar with modern day military as my husband is in and I was in, but this Civil War history is throwing me for a loop since I am not familiar with all the terms.
