I am in the courthouse on a frequent basis so I will search more. I do know that the transaction is not recorded in the Tract Book. This is the record of the sale of public lands. It could be that the original grantee could not support the homestead and lost the land. Is it possible that Mrs. T.K. Hendrick received the patent or a son with the same name. There is a cemetery near the land called Biggs Cemetery. It was established on the Tullis Biggs landgrant and is within 1/4 miles of the Hendricks property. Next trip that way, I'll walk through.
