I am searching for any information on my ancestor, Thomas T. Whigham from Dale County who served in Co. H, 6th AL Cavalry. How can I find out if he enlisted? was drafted? Did he survive the war? what engagements did he take part, etc. Any information on this would be so greatly appreciated.
