General GArrott grave possible id ?

According to the online listing by the N.P.S. of CS soldiers
buried at "Soldiers Rest" Viscksburg Mississippi, there is a
"Colonel Garnet" killed 6/17/1863 (No plot listed)
Probably this is the following officer:
Isham Warren Garrott. (b.Wake/Anson Co NC 1815-d.6/17/1863)
Colonel 20th Alabama Infantry.
1) Both death dates are the same.
2) His commission as Brigadier General (dated May 28, 1863)
was received at Headquarters AFTER his death. Therefore any
cemetery record would probably list his rank as "Colonel".
3) The Cemetery record notes that that Colonel "Garnet" was "Intered at Finey's". In a note #162 (.p.375 of Warner's
"Generals In Gray") Garrott widow told her daugther in law
that he had been buried under the window of a friend's house
in Vicksburg and remains were never subsequently removed.
If this cemetery record had a listing of a "Colonel Garnett"
instead of "General Garrott" this could account for his
widow writing that remains were never moved. As I COuld not
get through on the email Vicksburg NPS connection I have written to them above facts.
