Using Wm. Hadskey's report on the 7th Miss. as a source I have this:

Pvt. Isaac Winter, captured at Shelbyville, Tn. Resident of Cosa, Ala.

Hadskey has this man marked as maybe belonging to another unit. In the CWS&S I fond a Isaac Winter also listed in Co. C., 7th Miss. Cav.

Does amyone have any information regarding Mr. Winter and his CSA service. I would also like his background and burial information.
