I couldn't say for sure what flag that they carried, but as the 2nd was formed in May 1862, they probably carried a regulation flag. {Units formed during 1861 from 1860 AVC units often carried their own flag, of whatever design they had made of their own creativity.}

Their are experts on the various flags issued to the different Confederate Cavalry brigades at different points in time. Perhaps one of these will see your question and know the answer.

In the meantime, I would say that it *could* have been a flag like the one shown for the 6th Ala. Cav. at this site: http://www.archives.state.al.us/referenc/flags/078.html
