Homer I had a ggggrandfather killed at Gaines Mill VA on June 27, 1862. His name was Archibald Bradford Buchanan. He was in 9 ALA Regt Co K. I have copies of his muster roll with little info on it. In your information can you tell if we would be able to find a burial site for him. I know that many men died in that skirmish and he could possibly be buried in a mass grave. Also had another gggrandfather John Alexander Sims 4 ALA Regt CSA (what does this stand for?) Co H. killed in 1863 but cannot find any information on date and where he died.
