Judy,
The more I dig the more interesting the story gets on
my grgrgrandfather,this switchover caused a lot of ill
will in the Battles family that I didn't know existed
until I started researching,Frank,two of his brothers
and a cousin and as it seems to be turning out several
friends and/or neighbors left the CSA to join the Union
over a tragic killing.I wondered why people were e-mailing me "now I hope this doesn't start the war all
over again"when I would post quieries to gen forums.The
more I learn about this man the prouder I get.
