Tom ElmoreJohn MoselyTue Oct 17 21:19:18 2000 I presume this is a reference to John Mosely, Company G, 4th Alabama, who was mortally wounded and captured. He wrote a letter to his mother, which can be found in: Under Both Flags, by George M. Vickers (Des Moines, Iowa: Mutual Book Concern, 1896), pp. 73-74. Company G was the "Marion Light Infantry" from Perry County. In Company E (Conecuh County) of the same regiment was 1st Sgt. Andrew J. Mosley, who was wounded at Gettysburg.Sincerely, Tom Elmore
