Thank you for your response. I provide to you the following information for your records to assist you in identifying your 7th Alabama regiments. My ancestor enlisted 26 Aug '63 in Co B, commander D.T. Scarbrough. My ancestor is on the POW roll as being with Campbell's Bde, Jackson's Div, Forrest's Cavalry Corps. Surrendered at Cirtnelle Ala by LTG R Taylor to MG Canby 4 May '65, paroled Gainesville, Ala 11 May '65. My ancestor lived in Eutaw, Greene County Alabama. He eventually moved to Mississippi, then to Pine Bluff Ark where he died.
