Military Service: 55th Alabama Infantry, Co I, CSA.
Enlisted at Camp Cheatham, Nov 13 1861. Elected Corporal Sept 27, 1862. Re-enlisted for two years at same time.

d: July 12, 1863 Williamsport, MD (also have him dying Aug 31, 1864 Jonesboro, GA)

Military Service: Was in 15th Tenn Regiment, then went to either 4th Tenn or Smith's Cavalry. (have an interesting letter from him written during the war which I am going to post to the board)
