After several phone calls I think I have narrowed down our search. I believe our best best is to search at the Center for American History in the LBJ library adjacent to the UT campus. A person at this facility told me that they have special editions for the Dallas News on microfiche or archived. If it is microfiched I should be able to get copies. If it is archived, I might have to do specific research on individuals. As I live in Austin and the library is here, I guess I'm the point man.

I'll leg it over there in early August and report back to the message board.
