You were probably writing this as I was writing "A bit more."

As I said in that thread...the whole issue of the "5th Alabama" can very confusing!

I was unaware that Golladay's was referred to as the 5th Battalion. And I have never heard of Blount's 5th Batt., at all! That makes at least seven "5th Alabama" units!

By the way, since we are on the subject, I'm still trying to identify the "5th Alabama Dragoons". Any thoughts?
