Burning of Guntersville

Hello,
Perhaps soneone can be of help.
I have been trying to find out the story behind the burning of Guntersville but nobody seems to know so I came to y'all.

What got me interested is a photocopied picture of a house from the Advertiser-Gleam, date unknown, of one one my ancestors.
The caption below the picture states....'Historic House. This home, which is still standing, was the scene of the fight that caused Guntersville to be burned by Union troops. It is the former Thomas Noble house at Red Hill. Bullet holes can still be seen in the side of the house. For details of the fight see the article in this section of the Advertiser-Gleam on the burning of Guntersville.'

I'd very much like to get a copy of that article or perhaps someone knows the story behind this and can relate it to me.

I would appreciate hearing from you!
