C.S. Uniforms

Hello Lee,
Thanks for your response. I have read a lot of articles by the Military Company of Historians". They are quite interesting and well researched. In fact, what I said about how several thousand uniforms were being put out each month by the end of '63(I think that was it)was an article by them. Although they did not say exactly how the uniforms were made, just how many.
Not to change the subject, but I am descended from the Whites also, and have info on my line going back to my 5th g.grandfather, Col. Henry White. He settled in the Spartanburg, S.C., area, and fought in the Rev. War. Are you by any chance connected? A lot of Whites moved elsewhere over the years, especially west, and even more especially after the Civil War.
Take care,
Dave
