Miles, I myself am a Mason as I supposed that you probably suspected. Two of my known 6 Confederate ancestors were Masons and the others not. I assure you that not all C.S. soldiers were Masons. A good many of the officers both C.S. and U.S. were and of course many enlisted men as well.
