Company “K” of Talladega County “Fort William Rifles”

John C. McKenzie. Wounded at Frazier’s Farm, Virginia, June 30, 1862. Resigned December 20, 1862, because of ill health.
John Oden. Wounded and disabled at Sharpsburg, Maryland, September 17, 1862. Subsequently captured there and exchanged at City Point, Virginia, November 21, 1862. Promoted Captain [March 1, 1863,] to rank December 21, 1862. Resigned June 20, 1863. Subsequently served as Captain of Oden’s Mounted Company, Alabama Reserves. [DAB4:1295]
Motte C. Calhoun. Wounded and disabled at Sharpsburg, Maryland, September 17, 1862. Promoted Captain [July 3,] 1863, to rank June 20, 1863. Resigned August 19, 1863. Later served with Oden’s Mounted Company, Alabama Reserves.
Henry N. Coleman. Promoted Captain [December 12, 1863,] to rank August 19, 1863. Killed near Petersburg, Virginia, October 13, 1864.
Simeon J. Morris. Promoted Captain [December 8,] 1864, to rank from October 13, 1864. Surrendered at Appomattox Courthouse, Virginia, April 9, 1865.
