As you probably know, there are quite a number of Harris men who appear in this company. Someone else may have mentioned that it was called the "Bull Mountain Invincibles". All were enrolled at Columbus MS on Sept. 9, 1862, and participated in the disasterous Corinth campaign a month later. The roll for Sept-Oct. 1862 says he was captured at Hatchie Bridge MS on Oct. 5, 1862, during the retreat, and exchanged at Corinth MS on Oct. 14, 1862. R. G. and Henry C. Harris would appear to have been recaptured at Water Valley MS on Dec. 4, 1862, although R. G.'s records don't include that statement. He does appear on a list of prisoners forwarded from Holly Springs MS to Cairo IL on Dec. 22, 1862. That's all there is; don't know where you found the rest of the story, but this is the first part.
