The only militia unit from Pike that I have
been able to get a handle on is Maj Thomas F.
Bean's 2d Class Militia; and then only a roll
of those absent on Aug 5, 1864 from Beats 1
thru 6; unfortunately Murphree's Pike List
does not address Home Guards/Reserves/Militia
at all; with him being a "Root Hawg or Die"
Soldier who served with both the ANV and AOT,
think I may understand.
