Yes, all Alabama Confederate commands as well as Confederate commands which included Alabama companies. There are a couple of regiments I lack to complete in order to have a complete list. These include (but are not limited to) the following:

3rd Confederate Cavalry Regiment;

5th Battalion, Hilliard's Alabama Legion;

Jeff Davis (Mississippi) Legion;

Wirt Adams Mississippi Cavalry Regiment;

N. B. Forrest's Tennessee Cavalry Regiment;

2nd Alabama Artillery Battalion;

20th Alabama Artillery Battalion;

A few Alabama independent companies (artillery, cavalry and infantry).

I've started many of these but haven't turned them into electronic documents yet.

Tancig is useful for starters, but is frequently wrong or doesn't have what you want. The most complete list available today was created by a dedicated volunteer for the ADAH in Montgomery. Also, every once in a while a 'new' company name turns up in a regimental correspondence file. Dr. Owen always asked included company name in his litany of questions to veterans. Also, I like to cite antebellum company antecedants, such as the "Midway Guards" (Co. "B", 15th Alabama) having a connection to the pre-war "Midway Southern Guards", but that's probably not useful to you.

Let me know how I can assist.....
