I'm unaware of any Confederate cemetery near Spanish Fort, but I'd rather not describe myself as an expert on that area. You should check the Official Records for particulars, but most troops stationed around Mobile in the early days camped along Dog River, Old Shell Road, and other sites along the western side of Mobile Bay. Since a considerable body of Confederate troops were defending Pensacola, it didn't make sense to fortify the eastern shore of the bay. That happened later, after the capture of the bay forts in the summer of 1864.

I don't believe there any relationship between the two Gladdens you have identified; Adley H. was only in the area a short time and died of wounds at Shiloh TN on April 6, 1862.
