Just received document from National Archives reports that John Croley (Cronley) was a private in Co. H 23rd AL and that he died December 27, 1861 in the Regimental Hospital. Does anyone know where the 23rd was stationed and the location of the hospital in December 1861? Any information would be most appreciated. -Doug Croley
