I will copy everything I have on the colemans for you. Would you be so kind as to share that letter and any information you have regarding the Hawkins Sharpshooters? Daniel Coleman became Commander of Co. A, 33rd Alabama after the sharpshooters were consolidated into one company prior to Ringgold Gap.

Two Coleman Brothers were killed as members in Hawkins' Sharpshooters (one at murfreesboro and the other at Chickamauga.) I have their service records.

I sure would love to have a copy of the letter you talk of as I am writing a unit history on Hawkins' Sharpshooters.
