I found M B Parson at Ancestry.com of the 21st Alabama Infantry Co. "B" mustered out at the rank of private. In order to get his service record from the National Archives you must e-mail them at inquire@nara.gov and ask for Form "80". You may also check with the LFS family history center near you, they can order those records from Salt Lake City at a cheaper price.
